Disney and Pixar
Working on Disney and Pixar sketch cards has been a completely different kind of experience for me, and one that hits in a more nostalgic way. These are characters and stories that a lot of us grew up with, so there’s a certain responsibility to keep that warmth and personality intact. It’s less about pushing things darker or edgier, and more about capturing something familiar in a way that still feels genuine. There’s a lot of heart in that kind of work, and it’s something I’ve really come to appreciate and look forward to!
Disneyland’s
70th Anniversary
I had the chance to work on a 15-card puzzle for Disney’s 70th anniversary, featuring a range of classic attractions from Disneyland. The goal was to capture some of that familiar nostalgia people feel for the park, while still bringing a slightly playful tone to the piece. It was a bit of a balancing act, and something I was really grateful to be trusted with.
We went through a few rounds of revisions to find the right mix of attractions and overall feel, but once it came together, it felt like we landed in a good place. Seeing all 15 cards connect into one image was a really rewarding moment. It’s a project I’m thankful to have been a part of, and one I won’t forget.
